I have just found your website and was very interested in the Herbert family information. My Herbert family also come from Llansantffraed, my David Herbert was born in 1795 in Llanrhystyd. He marries Mary Jones who was born in the same village but in 1796.
They lived in Llanon on a farm called Tryl Bach farm (please ignore the terrible spelling of the farm.
My family come down from Mary and David’s daughter Mary who was born in 1826 in Llansantffraed.
No record of a marriage but Mary did have 2 sons Job who I come down from who was born in 1854 in Llanrhystyd and William born in 1859 in Llansantffraed.
Do you have any information on this Herbert family, I would like to find out David (born 1795) family.
I have found Mary(1796) family her father is David Jones born in 1776 in Llansantffraed.
