Hi My name is Marie I live in Derbyshire UK. Thank you for the information regarding Edwin Claringburn and Florence Farrell.

Edwin Claringburn was my great Grandad and his Daughters name was Edna Claringburn (my Granny). On my grans birth certificate it states Mary Jane Pacey as her mother and Edwin Claringburn as her father.

I have not found any information regarding a Mary Jane Pacey anywhere so this information was of great interest and has got me thinking, is the child mentioned my Granny if so why did her mother sign my grans certificate as Mary Jane Pacey and if not did my gran have another sister other than her half sister Nora (Agnes Daughter). The plot thickens lol.

Thanks for that info re Edwin and Mary Jane Lambert and Florence Farell. According to a descendent, Florence was called Mary Jane Pacey on Edna's birth certificate in 1905 and Edna was registered as a Claringburn. She had not been able to get any further with this and now we know why! Edna was living with Edwin and his mother on the 1911 but also living in another house was to be Edwin's third 'wife' Agnes Cassidy in a house owned by Edwin. They don't appear to have married but they had a child in 1915. Both Agnes and this child took on the name Claringburn
